Is your beef grass-fed?
Yes, our cattle are grass-fed in addition to grain and corn a few weeks prior to processing. Our cattle have access to fresh grass during grazing season and hay in the colder months.
What breed of cattle do you have?
Our beef cattle are Black Angus.
Where is your beef processed?
We get our meat processed at New England Meat Company, a USDA processing facility. For additional information visit their website
Are your cows born on the farm?
Yes, we had our first herd of calves bred directly from our farm in the summer of 2023 - we plan to continue that so going forward all of our beef cattle will be born on our farm. The only animal not born on the farm is our bull.
