About Olde Road Farm

IMG-6306.jpg

Olde Road Farm is family operated regenerative cattle farm in Southold, NY. On our 38 acres of farmland, 19.2 of which was purchased from the Peconic Land Trust in 2020, we raise grass-fed, grain-finished beef cattle, specializing in angus beef.

The 19.2 acres of farmland acquired from the Peconic Land Trust has given us more space to expand on our livestock and crops, and has given us more opportunity to provide and serve our local community.

Olde Road Farm has expanded since then, making major repairs to the farmstead - updating the barns and reseeding fields for new grass pastures.

Our Mission

Our priority is quality, rather than quantity - that’s why our mission has always been, and will continue to be to strictly raise healthy, quality, majority grass-fed beef. Our goal for the past 2 years has been to focus on breeding our beef cattle on our farm. It's important to us to have born, raised and finished beef come directly from our pastures in order to have a fully traceable product. It takes time to raise healthy cattle and while our cattle are healthy and growing, it will be some time before we have a consistent supply of beef.

It takes time, but we are getting there - this is just the start!

It's a bittersweet concept to raise animals for food & not hold back our love for them regardless of their ultimate fate. But it's also rewarding knowing we're keeping a safe food system alive. Rewarding knowing we're nourishing our bodies with natural, sustainable food. And it's the most rewarding knowing we're able to share with friends, family and our community.

We will be selling beef from our farm in Southold, NY. when we are restocked. Join our mailing list here to be notified of all meat restocks!
